Additional Driver
Rental conditions apply to all additional drivers. A fee of 28.43 Euro per rental excl vat applies.
Age Requirements
Renters must be aged 21 or over to rent Mini, Economy, Compact, Compact Wagon, Monospace Wagon, Convertible and Aans. Renters must be aged 25 or over to rent Intermediate, Standard, Monospace, Wagon, Minivan, SUV 4x2, Premium Wagon, Premium. Renters must be aged 30 or over to rent Luxury.
Damage Waiver
Damage waiver reduces the amount of liability you are responsible for in the event of damage to and or theft of the vehicle. The excess price is 18.00 EUR. The excess amounts applicable with damage waiver are. Vehicle class Economy-Mini-Electric- Compact- Intermediate- Standard- SUV- Convertible, 850.00 EUR. Vehicle class Monospace-Mini-van - Fullsize Wagon-Van-Fullsize- Luxury, 2000.00 EUR.
One Way Drop Policy
A. One way rentals are permitted for all public products for all cars in France, cost is available upon booking. B. One way rentals are permitted on all tour products, except weekend rates for all cars in France, cost is available upon booking. C. One way rentals are not permitted between France Mainland and France Corsica. International one way rentals are not permitted.
Extended Protection
Excess protection is an optional coverage that allows the renter to reduce their excess responsibility. The price of ep is 15.00 EUR per day. For Economy-Mini- Electric- Compact- Intermediate- Standard- SUV- Convertible reducing excess from 850.00 EUR to 150.00 EUR. Vehicle class Monospace-Mini-Van – Fullsize Wagon-Van-Fullsize- Luxury reducing excess from 2000.00 EUR to 1300.00 EUR.
Exclusive Policy
Total charges include road fund licence and vat. Damage waiver is not included and must be taken unless, alternative coverage can be verified at time of rental.
Refueling Service
To comply with the Enterprise standard fuel policy the vehicle should be returned with a level of fuel equal to the amount provided at the start of the rental. Optional fuel products are available at participating locations.
Insurance Policy
Theft protection - TP theft protection is an optional insurance which reduces the customers loss or theft responsibility to the excess-deductible amount. The customer is liable for between 8,500.00 to 40,000.00 EUR of the damage-loss if this insurance is not purchased. TP per day is excluding vat. Deductible with TP is including vat, the cost of TP per day varies from each car class. TP rates range from up to 7.11 EUR plus vat per day with the deductible up to the amount of 5000.00 EUR.
Miscellaneous Policy
Cross border policy customer must advise the car will be driven out of France at the beginning of the rental. Cross border travel is not permitted into AL,BY,BA,BG, HR,CZ,EE,GR,HU,IE,LV,LT,PL,MK,RO,RU,CS,SK,SI,TR,UA. Cross border travel is permitted into AD,AT,BE,DK,FI,DE ES,NL,IT,LU,NO,PT,SE,CH,GB at no extra cost. Cross border is travel is permitted into Corsica, Sardinia, Balearic Islands providing the car is returned to the mainland. Contact rental location for additional cross border restrictions and charges.
Forms of Payment
Amex, Diners, Mastercard, Visa accepted. Debit cards, cash, travellers cheques and eurocheques are not accepted. An international valid credit card is always required for the deposit which will be held on the credit card until the vehicle is returned. Two credit cards in the same name and surname required for car groups SFAR, PDAR, CTMR, LDAR, FDMR, FWAR, FDAR, IFMR, PFAR, LFAR, IGAR, IGMR and the credit cards must not be from the same issuer. The minimum authorization is EUR 1500 per card.
Roadside Protection
Enterprise offers Roadside Assistance Protection. Roadside Assistance Protection allows Enterprise customers to waive all financial responsibility for the following - tyre (excluding the rim) and glass repair or replacement costs, except when part of a larger repair, replacement keys costs and all recovery and call charges imposed by our chosen roadside assistance providers as result of a fault caused by renter error. Roadside Assistance Protection does not exempt you from these charges if there is any breach of our rental agreement.
Roadside Protection Exclusions/Voids
Roadside Protection does not cover: any damage caused by the use of wrong fuel, any failure to take all reasonable measures to look after the vehicle keys or any other device which unlocks the vehicle and/or enables the Vehicle to be started.
Roadside Protection will be voided if damage is caused by: non authorized driver, person whom has no driving license or does not have the category of vehicle on their license, hire and reward, illegal activity, racing or speed tests or road tests, under the influence of drugs or alcohol, outside the countries listed on page one of the contract, over loading of the vehicle, for pushing or towing another vehicle, using the vehicle not on a public road, transporting dangerous materials or substances, in an imprudent or negligent manor, or within the grounds of an airport.
New Deposit Policy
A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. For the categories Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate, Standard and People Carriers a deposit of 250 EUR is required. For Elite, Fullsize, Premium and Luxury Cars and Convertibles, the deposit is 1000 EUR. Vans require a deposit of 500 EUR. Cash and ‘cheques vacances’ are accepted as forms of payment but only at the end of the rental. The initial charges must be taken on a valid debit or credit card.
LOB Deposit Policy
You may need a valid credit or debit card in your name when you start your rental. If a credit or debit card is required to proceed with check-in, please enter it now. Please note that not all types of debit cards are accepted. Contact the rental location if you have any questions. If it is optional, you can choose to add your credit or debit card now or provide it in person when you start your rental. Payment will not be processed until you arrive to pick up your rental. The amount taken will be dependent on factors including but not limited to estimated amounts owed under the Rental Contract, the purchase of optional protection products, size of vehicle or fuel purchase or other separately negotiated terms with a third party to pay for all or part of the rental bill. You will remain responsible for all charges not paid by a third party, such as vehicle upgrades, optional products or extra rental days beyond those specified by the third party. Renter Requirements
Renters must present a valid driving license held for a minimum of one year. The license must be in Roman alphabet. An international driving license is valid only if presented with the domestic driving license. Renters must also provide either an identity card or a passport, return train or flight tickets and a local landline telephone number, this cannot be a mobile number. Proof of home address will be required from all french residents at time of rental. As proof of address France accept an edf, gdf bill or fr telecom bill or any other landline provider.
Shuttle / Arrival
After exiting baggage claim, enter the Arrivals Hall after customs. Go up one floor to the Check in level and follow the Destination France signs to the French Sector. Then follow the car rental signs to the counter to obtain your rental agreement and keys.
